Jul. 28 9:38 AM PT10:38 AM MT11:38 AM CT12:38 PM ET5:38 PM GMT1:38 AM 北京时间-Fuentes' run of 17 straight scoreless appearances was snapped in miserable fashion as he suffered the loss in Monday night's 8-6 defeat to visiting Cleveland. Analysis: The left-hander failed to record an out as he failed to protect a two-run lead in the ninth, giving up a three-run homer to Victor Martinez and a solo shot to Jhonny Peralta. The four runs were the most Fuentes (1-3, 3.79 ERA) had given up since he allowed five runs on June 30, 2008, against San Diego.

Jul. 23 4:59 PM PT5:59 PM MT6:59 PM CT7:59 PM ET12:59 AM GMT8:59 AM 北京时间-Fuentes walked one batter in a scoreless ninth inning to close out the Angels' 9-6 win over the Royals on Wednesday. Analysis: Fuentes got his 30th save in 33 chances this season, joining Randy Myers as the only left-handers to get 30 saves in both leagues. Fuentes had 30 saves twice in seven seasons with Colorado.

Jul. 18 10:58 PM PT11:58 PM MT12:58 AM CT1:58 AM ET6:58 AM GMT2:58 PM 北京时间-According to the Los Angeles Times, Fuentes blamed the commissioner's office as the reason he did not pitch in the All-Star Game. "That bumped me from my inning," Fuentes told the Times. "It's kind of crazy they would have their hand in making up the lineup." Analysis: Fuentes said he was told in an AL team meeting Monday that he would pitch the sixth inning, and he shared that news with family, friends and Angels officials in St. Louis. On Tuesday, he was told he would not pitch because the commissioner wanted starters to throw at least two innings, leaving one less for a reliever. "That soured me a little bit," Fuentes told the Times.

Jul. 12 5:32 PM PT6:32 PM MT7:32 PM CT8:32 PM ET1:32 AM GMT9:32 AM 北京时间-Fuentes pitched a perfect ninth inning and earned his 26th save in 29 chances Sunday in a 5-4 win over the Yankees. Analysis: The All-Star closer struck out Alex Rodriguez for the final out. He had big shoes to fill in replacing Francisco Rodriguez, and has done an excellent job.

He gave up a tying three-run homer to Jose Lopez with two outs in the ninth inning. Analysis: The blown save was the third for Fuentes in 16 attempts, and his fourth in his last 40 overall.
